The Planning for Ecosystem Services and Urban Sustainability lab (PLANES) within the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering at Università di Trento invites highly motivated individuals to apply for a one-year research fellowship to:
- Design frameworks for mapping and assessing ecosystem services;
- Perform spatial analysis and assessment of ecosystem services in urban areas;
- Analyze the framework of spatial planning and policies in the EU.
The position is funded by and takes place in the context of the EU Horizon Europe project “BioValue”. The project aims to leverage transformative change in spatial policymaking, planning practices and infrastructure development, to upscale opportunities for valuing biodiversity in support of EU strategic actions.
