Dear reader,
As the BioValue project approaches its conclusion, we are proud to share the latest updates from a busy and impactful final phase. Over the past two months, significant milestones have been achieved as we move closer to delivering the project’s final results.
A key highlight was our participation in the joint final event in Brussels, where BioValue came together with 11 other EU-funded projects working at the intersection of biodiversity and policy. The event offered a unique space to exchange insights, reflect on shared challenges, and explore transformative approaches to biodiversity governance.
On the first day, BioValue held its final conference, which featured a dynamic presentation of project results, partner contributions, and an interactive workshop that engaged participants in meaningful discussions about transformative change.
Work within the three BioValue Arenas, in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (Germany), Trento (Italy), and Mafra (Portugal) continues to generate valuable insights into localised pathways.
Most recently, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Arena released a video capturing the voices of local stakeholders, who reflect on the landscape’s evolving challenges and the Arena’s role in fostering sustainable transitions for the region’s peatlands.
Though we are nearing the end of the project timeline, BioValue’s ambition to support transformative change in biodiversity planning and governance is far from over. We invite you to explore this newsletter to stay informed about our latest activities, and to remain connected as we look toward the future of the BioValue community.
Enjoy your reading,
The BioValue Team
