On the 25th of September, the Mafra Municipality will host the first Mafra Biodiversity Forum, themed “Coexistence in urban areas”, at the Palace of the Marquises, in Mafra.
Organised by the Division of Environment of Mafra Council, the forum will feature three panel sessions on the following topics: “Local Advocacy Projects”, “Tourist Pressure”, and “Conservation in Peri-Urban Areas”. As part of the first panel session, the BioValue project will be presented by the Division of Planning and Land Use. This session represents a key opportunity for the BioValue team to engage with local stakeholders and explore collaborative efforts in biodiversity conservation and urban planning.
