From the City to the Civitas: taking care of the City and giving it back to its inhabitants

From March 9 to 11, 2023 BioValue is taking part in the 45th Congress of the International Urban Development Association (INTA).

The focus of the congress is on the transformations and the ruptures, which we are witnessing rather than acting upon, and which concern, among other things, environmental health, the housing-work relationship, transport and active mobility, sustainable construction and real estate, new territorial geographies and ways of living, all subjects considered to be necessary factors for the vitality and well-being of a territory.

In this regard, on the 9th of March 2023, Isabel Loupa Ramos, Professor at IST – University of Lisbon and Researcher at CITUA, will make a speech in “The city and water: riverbanks, coasts, blue and green corridors” session and present the case of Trento Arena for Transformation.

The congress is organized with the support of the Lisbon and Oeiras municipalities, the Porto de Lisboa (Port of Lisbon) and the Técnico research unit – Centre for Innovation in Territory, Urbanism and Architecture (CiTUA).
