Issue #3 - November 2024

Dear Reader,

The BioValue project keeps taking more and more steps towards enhancing biodiversity value, while it explores practices of spatial planning, management instruments, environmental assessments and economic and financial instruments.

In the past months, Biovalue partners have organized a webinar series titled "Unlocking Biodiversity Value in Spatial Planning - A Webinar Reflection Journey to Enhance Transformation" to foster dialogues with stakeholders.

The next and fourth webinar will be held on Monday, 18th of November, from 3:00 - 4:30 pm (CET), titled "Biodiversity relevant transformative changes in spatial planning".

The meeting is an opportunity to discuss on enhancing the transformative potential of spatial planning in valuing biodiversity. The focus will be on exploring possible pathways to initiate, accelerate, and scale up biodiversity-relevant transformative changes in spatial planning.

The webinar is open to the public, so do not miss the opportunity to bring your voice into the conversation about biodiversity in spatial planning.

The webinar will be moderated by Instituto Supèrior Tecnico (IST) of the Universitade de Lisbona.

As outlined in the agenda below, the webinar will also include a working group session, during which you will have the chance to actively participate in the discussion and provide your precious inputs on possible transformative pathways.
